About Yana Goichman
Yana was born and raised in Moldova (former Soviet Union), graduated with Master of Music in Violin and Pedagogy from Institute of Arts of Cisinau.
She emigrated to Israel and worked there as an orchestra violinist, before moving to New York and making Upper West Side her permanent home. Yana received a Post Graduate Diploma in Violin Performance from Mannes College of Music and holds positions as a member of New York City Opera Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra and New York Pops Orchestra. The violin path led her to concert stages all over the world: from Moldova to Israel, to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, to Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei.
Yana?s first profession, music, prepared her well for her work in real estate, since both professions require not only energy, patience and persistence, but - most importantly - respect for others and sensitivity to the nuances of their needs. Her creativity and persistence benefits everyone who works with her. Yana?s extensive knowledge of real estate process, gained over years of buying and selling apartments in New York and being a shareholder in a coop, makes it possible for her to provide clear and explicit information so that her clients can make the best decisions.
Yana is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew. With her adorable viszla Cherry, certified in Dog Therapy, she found volunteering on the Upper West Side very enjoyable.
