Girleene entered the real estate industry as her second productive career, after enjoying property ownership for over 25 years, and migrating from the telecommunications industry in business-to-business sales. Girleene feels most comfortable specializing in the Upper West Side and Chelsea neighborhoods in Manhattan, as her familiarity with these areas make them feel like second homes to her. She has resided in New York City for over 30 years, traveling between the boroughs for entertainment, employment and educational opportunities that are so unique to the whole city environment.

Though her family originates from North Carolina, her college and professional years have been in New York. Girleene holds an A.A.S. Degree from New York University, a B.S. Degree from SUNY Empire State College, and is a fully certified paralegal on which her integrity is built.

Personally, Girleene also loves being actively involved in helping others, serving at a food bank for the homeless, answering telephones for Channel Thirteen?s sponsorship drives, and providing daycare support to young children. Interior design studies, creative pursuits like decorative floral arrangements and designing accent pillows, the beach and swimming, travel, Broadway and the New York Mets are her other favorite passions.
