Derrick Johnson is a native New Yorker. Born in Manhattan, raised in Brooklyn and later moved out to Long Island. His familiarity with New York City is unmatched. Derrick was a football star at the University of Maine where he earned his Bachelor?s degree in Business Marketing as well as a Conference Championship. He later went on to play in the NFL with the New England Patriots (2014), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2014), and the New York Giants (2015). As an agent, Derrick combines his competitive nature and drive to pursue his passions of providing exceptional service to people and sharing his love for New York City.

In addition to being a real estate agent, Derrick continues to serve New York City through his Nonprofit Organization he founded in 2016, Brighter Futures. He mentors and coaches kids as well as set up outlets for kids through sports and recreational activities. He continues to serve and give back to a place that has given him so much.
